The Great Week

During the Lenten season, Filipinos reflect on Christ's passion, suffering, death, and resurrection. Usually, April is the month in which the Holy Week occurs. Throughout Holy Week, many churches hold their own unique programs for prayers, devotions, and other religious observances that serve to remind us of the life of Jesus Christ and how He died to save us.

During the holy week, many people are to attend christian and catholic Easter week services. Many people also go home to their provinces or travel to tourist destinations. While some people just stay on their houses and rest. Most filipinos celebrates Holy week by visiting at least seven different churches with their family and friends. While others stay at home and  pray silently. And there are also things that is needed to avoid during holy week. People should not make any loud noises or loud musics because it is not good. It is not even recommended to eat any type of meat. Other than that, there are also things that must be done during the holy week. One of it is treating your friends and family nicely and showing kindness to them. Another one that is something really important to do is to pray with all your heart.

Holy week is one of the most important week. A week that is needed to be remembered always. A week not just for resting and vacation but also a time to celebrate the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.
