Appreciation for hardworking Filipinos
Labor day is a holiday in the Philippines. It is not just a simple holiday, but a day that must be celebrated. It is a special day specially for the Filipino workers.
May 1, it is the day in every year where we celebrate the "Labor day". It is a non-working holiday. A day celebrated by a lot of Filipino workers as it represents their struggles and achievements in life. As we all know, most filipinos are known to be hard workers. A lot of Filipinos have also been working in abroad where in they face so much struggles and have fought so much battles. Furthermore, filipinos who are either in the Philippines or in abroad have been through a lot of difficulties and have made a lot of sacrifices. They have been working so hard for their family. They do everything just so they could provide their family's everyday needs. And that is why we celebrate the "Labor day". A special day that also gives Filipino workers time to rest and have time to spend with their family.
We celebrate this special day because Filipinos have been working so hard. They truly deserve a time to rest. And, It is also the time that we must show appreciation and recognize their contributions in the society.
